Oppo has launched the F31 Pro+ 5G in India with a headline 7000 mAh battery inside a slim chassis, rugged protection, and a focus on stable performance in Indian conditions.

It sits above the F31 Pro and F31 in the new trio and goes on sale alongside the Pro model this month.

Price in India, Variants, Sale and Availability

The Oppo F31 Pro+ 5G is priced at ₹32,999 for 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage and ₹34,999 for 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage.

First sale in India starts September 19, 2025 across Oppo E-Store, Flipkart, Amazon, and major offline retailers. The standard F31 goes on sale September 27. Listings roll out through the day in IST across channels.

What You Get in the Box

Handset, 80 W charger, USB-C cable, SIM ejector, protective case, and quick guide.

Design and Build

Despite the huge cell, the phone stays pocket-friendly at 7.7 mm in Gemstone Blue and 195 g, or 7.9 mm and 204 g for the Himalayan White and Festival Pink variants.

The frame and internal “360° Armour Body” reinforcement aim to survive real-world drops, while the phone is rated IP69, IP68, and IP66 against water and dust.

It has passed seven military-grade environmental tests covering extreme heat and cold, dust, salt fog, rain and shock. Color options in India include Gemstone Blue, Himalayan White, and Festival Pink.

Display

A 17.27 cm AMOLED panel from BOE (Q10) delivers FHD+ 2800 × 1280 resolution at up to 120 Hz with 240 Hz touch sampling, 10-bit color, 100% DCI-P3 in vivid mode, and 1600 nits HBM for better outdoor visibility. Gorilla-class cover is AGC DT-Star D+.

In daily use, the fast refresh helps smoother scrolling and gaming, while the color depth and gamut make HDR-style streaming look richer.

Performance and Cooling

Under the hood is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 paired with an Adreno 7-series GPU. Oppo adds a large 5,219 mm² vapor chamber and its Trinity/Aurora system engines to keep thermals and frame rates steady in summer heat.

The company claims 72-month fluency protection after lab testing. In practice, the 4 nm chipset should handle social, camera, and popular games comfortably at medium to high settings without throttling spikes.

Memory and Storage

Two variants ship with LPDDR4X RAM and 256 GB UFS 3.1 storage, plus USB OTG support. UFS 3.1 helps with quick app installs, large file copies, and faster in-game texture loads compared to older UFS 2.x hardware.

Battery and Charging

The 7000 mAh single-cell battery is rated for 1,830 charge cycles and supports 80 W SuperVOOC fast charging.

Oppo quotes up to 42% in 20 minutes and includes 10 W reverse wired charging so the phone can top up accessories on the go.

The big capacity is the headline here. It enables multi-day light use, long navigation sessions with high-accuracy GPS, hours of video shoots, and heavy evening use without reaching for the cable.

Cameras

Rear: 50 MP main with OIS and a 2 MP mono sensor. Front: 32 MP selfie camera. Video support goes up to 4K 30 fps on the rear and 4K 30 fps on the front, with EIS/OIS stabilisation options and slow-motion up to 1080p 120 fps.

For users, the OIS helps reduce blur for low-light shots and steady handheld clips, while the 32 MP front cam brings cleaner 4K vlogs and crisp video calls.

Connectivity and Network

Dual-SIM 5G with bands n1/n3/n5/n8/n28B/n38/n40/n41/n77/n78 covers India’s key deployments, plus LTE FDD/TDD and VoLTE. Wi-Fi 6 and Wi-Fi 5 are supported, along with Bluetooth 5.2 and codecs including LDAC, aptX, and aptX HD for better wireless audio.

There is dual-band GNSS with GPS L1+L5, NavIC, GLONASS, BDS, Galileo, and QZSS for strong location accuracy.

USB-C handles data and audio for Type-C headsets. Oppo’s NetworkBoost S1 chip, AI LinkBoost 3.0, dual-frequency GPS, Beacon Link 2.0 offline voice/data over Bluetooth, and antenna tuning aim to keep calls and payments stable in low-signal zones.

Software

Ships with ColorOS 15. The UI brings the latest Oppo feature set, and the hardware acceleration pieces mentioned above feed into smoother animations and app launch consistency.

Rugged Claims for Indian Use

IP69 testing simulates high-pressure water jets often found in cleaning scenarios, while IP68 and IP66 add immersion and heavy splash resistance.

The 18-liquid testing covers coffee, soap, river water and more, reducing the risk from everyday spills. The durability pitch will matter to outdoor workers and frequent travellers.

Where to Buy and Early-Bird Offers

Oppo E-Store, Flipkart, Amazon, and partner retail stores nationwide. Launch offers across channels include bank discounts and exchange bonuses that bring down effective prices on both Pro+ and Pro.

  • Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G: Faster charging and higher peak brightness on paper, but smaller battery
  • Realme 15 Pro+ 5G: Similar 120 Hz OLED and fast charging, but lacks the same IP69 claim
  • Samsung Galaxy M55 5G: Cleaner software and long OS support, but a smaller cell and slower charging
  • Vivo V31 Pro 5G: Stylish design with good cameras, not as rugged as the F31 Pro+
  • Nothing Phone 2a Plus: Unique design and clean UI, battery and IP ratings trail the Oppo

If you want a big-battery 5G phone that can handle heat, rain, and shaky signals, the Oppo F31 Pro+ 5G is built to last without breaking the bank.
