Infinix has aimed this one squarely at value hunters. The Note 50s 5G+ starts at ₹14,999 for the 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage variant.
The 8 GB RAM model with 128 GB storage is priced at ₹15,999, while the top 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage option costs ₹17,999.
The phone initially went on sale on April 24, 2025 at 12 PM IST, and the newer 6 GB + 128 GB variant went on sale from June 23.
You can buy it on Flipkart in Titanium Grey, Burgundy Red and Marine Drift, and it is also listed on Infinix’s online store. During ongoing festive deals, the effective starting price has been seen at ₹14,999 with select bank offers.
Design and display
This is one of the few phones under ₹15,000 to ship with a curved AMOLED panel. You get a 6.78 inch Full HD+ 3D curved AMOLED display that refreshes at 144 Hz.
Peak brightness is rated at 1300 nits, touch sampling goes up to 2160 Hz, and the glass is Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
The screen supports TÜV low blue light and high-frequency PWM dimming, so it stays comfortable for long reading sessions.
The phone is just 7.6 mm thin and weighs 180 g, which makes it easy to hold despite the big screen.
There is MIL-STD-810H and IP64 for dust and splash resistance, which is rare in this price bracket. An in-display fingerprint sensor sits under the glass.
Performance and 5G
Power comes from MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300 Ultimate built on a 4 nm process with an octa-core CPU and Mali-G615 MC2 GPU. This chip balances daily speed with decent gaming headroom. App launches feel quick, and scrolling takes advantage of the 144 Hz screen.
Infinix pairs the chipset with LPDDR5X RAM for faster memory bandwidth and UFS 2.2 storage for quicker installs and loading times compared to eMMC or older UFS standards.
You can choose 6 GB or 8 GB RAM and 128 GB or 256 GB storage.
There is no additional expandable storage, so pick a higher storage tier if you shoot a lot of 4K video.
5G bands include n1, n3, n5, n8, n28B, n38, n40, n41, n77 and n78 for broad coverage across Indian networks.

Cameras
On the back you get a 64 MP Sony sensor paired with a 2 MP macro camera and dual LED flash. The primary camera supports multiple modes including Super Night, Dual-Video, and a Pro mode for manual control. Video recording goes up to 4K at 30 fps.
On the front, a 13 MP camera handles selfies with screen flash and wide selfie mode. While this is not a multi-lens flagship setup, the 64 MP main sensor with Infinix’s AI tuning delivers reliable daylight shots and usable low-light images for social posts.
The gem-cut camera module also includes Active Halo Lighting that glows for calls, charging and even camera countdowns, which is a neat touch in this class.
Battery and charging
The 5500 mAh battery is the silent hero here. With a frugal 4 nm chip and AMOLED screen, the phone comfortably lasts a full busy day for most users and can push into a second with lighter use. Charging is rated at 45 W with All-Round FastCharge 3.0.
You also get handy extras like bypass charging for long gaming sessions, AI charge protection for battery health, and wired reverse charging to top up accessories.
If you routinely forget to charge at night, a quick morning top-up gets you going fast.

Audio and connectivity
Dual speakers tuned by JBL with Hi-Res Audio certification deliver louder and cleaner sound than the usual single-speaker phones at this price.
For wireless, you get Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4 for stable, low-latency connections with modern routers and earbuds. There is also an IR blaster, so the phone can double as a TV or AC remote, which is genuinely useful in Indian homes. USB-C is present, as expected.
Software and updates
The Note 50s 5G+ runs XOS 15 on top of Android 15. Infinix bundles a set of AI-powered tools like Folax assistant, smart panels and an AI eraser for photos.
The company has stated two years of Android OS updates and three years of security patches for this device, which is a welcome commitment in the budget segment.
Little things that matter
In daily use, the combination of a curved 144 Hz AMOLED and the lightweight body makes the phone feel more premium than the price suggests. MIL-STD-810H and IP64 give extra peace of mind during monsoons or dusty commutes.
The in-display fingerprint reader works with wet fingers better than you would expect thanks to Rainwater Touch support. Just remember there is no microSD expansion, so plan your storage accordingly.
Variants and what to pick
If you mostly use WhatsApp, YouTube, UPI apps and click casual photos, the 6 GB + 128 GB variant at ₹14,999 is the sweet spot. If you play a lot of games or keep heavy apps in memory, the 8 GB RAM model reduces reloads, and the 256 GB storage tier is worth it for offline downloads and 4K recordings. Since there is no card slot, creators should prefer 256 GB.
Where the specs help you
LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage make the UI feel snappier when switching between apps or installing games. The 144 Hz screen shows smoother motion in feeds and games, and the 1300-nit peak helps with outdoor visibility in Indian summers.
Wi-Fi 6 reduces congestion on busy home networks. JBL-tuned speakers mean clearer dialogues in movies without always reaching for earphones. The large 5500 mAh battery paired with 45 W charging reduces plug anxiety for commuters and students who are out all day.

Network and calling
With support for popular 5G and 4G bands in India, VoNR and VoLTE work smoothly on mainstream operators. Bluetooth 5.4 also helps with stronger earbud connections during calls.
The phone’s curved sides and 180 g weight make long calls less tiring to hold, and the microphones are tuned well enough for clear voice pickup in traffic.
Competing models and quick comparisons
- Redmi Note 14 SE 5G: Offers a flat 120 Hz AMOLED, 2100-nit peak brightness and a 50 MP main camera. The Infinix counters with a curved 144 Hz screen, bigger 5500 mAh battery and JBL speakers, so it feels more premium for media.
- Samsung Galaxy F15 5G: Known for its clean UI, 6000 mAh battery and Super AMOLED at 90 Hz. If you want longer battery life and Samsung’s update policy, the F15 is strong, but the Infinix screen is faster and the charging is quicker.
- iQOO Z10x: Focuses on performance and big battery in the same price ballpark. Infinix pulls ahead on display quality with the curved 144 Hz AMOLED and adds IP64 plus JBL audio.
- realme P3 5G: Brings a 120 Hz AMOLED and tidy software. The Infinix still wins for a curved panel, higher 144 Hz refresh rate and a stronger protection package with MIL-STD and IP rating.
- Tecno Pova Curve: Another curved AMOLED pick with strong gaming chops. Pricing often sits higher than the Infinix base model, so Note 50s 5G+ gives you a similar curved experience for less.
Our Verdict
Infinix Note 50s 5G+ delivers a rare mix for under ₹15,000: a curved 144 Hz AMOLED, a dependable 5500 mAh battery with 45 W fast charging, modern LPDDR5X RAM, and niceties like JBL speakers, IP64 and MIL-STD-810H. If you want a premium display and solid day-long endurance without stretching your budget, this is an easy phone to shortlist.
